|Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to the Reverend Thomas Roscoe Reede Stebbing, Fellow of the Royal Society
|28 September 1905
|The President [William Huggins] has written to Stebbing on the subject of the representation of the Society at the funeral of the late Mr [George Bowdler] Buckton. Sir A Geikie is the only senior Officer of the Society presently accessible and he cannot attend. Harrison finds the Linnean Society have written to ask Stebbing to represent them at the funeral. If Stebbing is able to do this, Harrison asks that he might also represent the Society.
