TitleCopy letter from Archibald Geikie, to the Under Secretary of State, Colonial Office, S.W.
Date8 November 1905
DescriptionWith reference to the Under Secretary's letter of 24 August, 29376/1905, with which he enclosed the report of the principal Medical Officer of East Africa and Uganda for 1904, the report has been considered by the Society's Tropical Diseases Committee which recommended that, if the Colonial Office sees no objection, the two appendices of the report should be printed in the next report of the Sleeping Sickness Commission of the Royal Society. In returning the thanks of the Society to the Secretary of State for the Colonies for the perusal of the report, asks if the Under Secretary would be willing to allow the two appendices to be printed as proposed. The report is returned herewith.
