The only think he has been able to find has been the copy of a letter to Sir Clements Markham form Sir A Rucker, dated 12 December 1899, a copy of which he encloses [not enclosed], but he has been unable to find in the Council Minutes of the succeeding meetings any record of action being taken by the Council on the subject. |
