Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Richard Tetley Glazebrook, Fellow of the Royal Society |
Date | 13 December 1905 |
Description | Harrison sends thanks for Glazebrook's letter, and explains that a letter from Dr Joseph Larmor received the same day confirmed the list of nominations to the National Physical Laboratory which Harrison sent to Glazebrook. Larmor agreed that Captain Sankey would be the fourth nomination to the General Board rather than Mr Mallock. Letters are being sent out asking whether the individuals accept the nominations, but Harrison assumes these need not be sent to the members nominated by the technical societies on the basis that their own societies will communicate with them. |
