|Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Dr Richard Tetley Glazebrook, Fellow of the Royal Society
|10 January 1906
|Larmor forwarded to Harrison the correspondence concerning the vacancy on the Governing Body of the National Physical Laboratory. Forbes Carpenter is noted to have resigned from the Executive Committee, and have written after the Royal Society's Council meeting to declare that his resignation should also apply to the General Board. At the Council's next meeting they will need to appoint a representative on the General Board to replace Carpenter, as well as an alternative to Mr Haldane who has declined to serve.
