|Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Dr Dukinfield Henry Scott, Fellow of the Royal Society, Chairman of the Botany Sectional Committee
|21 February 1906
|Harrison communciates that Horace Brown's report for 'On the Function of Silica in the nutrition of cereals, Part I' by A D Hall and Morison, is favourable to publication, as Brown states that it makes "a valuable contribution" to knowledge about plant nutrition. He asks that Scott inform him whether they can now proceed to publication in Proceedings of the Royal Society, under Standing Order 33.
