TitleCopy letter from Archibald Geikie, to John Milne, [Fellow of the Royal Society]
Date12 March 1906
DescriptionGeikie thanks Milne for his manuscript, which he has reviewed and sent to the printer, noting that a copy will be posted once the proofs come back.

He expresses delight at news of a donation of £200 towards seismology, noting that the two new stations between Cairo and the Cape will be great additions. He also shares news from a recent visit to Paris, that the French Government will decline to participate in the International Seismic Organisation, and Harrison presumes the Treasury will decline to progress the matter as Great Britain's involvement was contingent on France and the USA joining.
