Description | The papers in the case of J A Wanklyn for a grant from the Civil List, were laid before the Scientific Relief Committee on 30 April, and were then referred to two members of their body, having some personal knowledge of the applicant, for report to the Committee. These reports were received and considered at a meeting on 26 June, when a resolution was passed that Wanklyn be recommended to the Prime Minister as deserving of a small pension on the grounds of his former work in science. |
