Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Sydney John Hickson, Fellow of the Royal Society, Manchester |
Date | 2 July 1906 |
Description | At the last Officers meeting the President [John William Strutt] brought the enclosed letters from Professor Person, and discussed whether Pearson's suggestion should be brought before Council [no enclosures]. It was agreed that before taking this step the opinion of the Sectional Committee for Zoology should be taken on the proposal. Asks Hickson as Chairman of the Zoology Committee to look over the letters and asks as to the mode of calling the attention of the Committee to the matter, whether by meeting or correspondence, bearing in mind it would hardly be practicable to obtain a report in time for the last meeting of Council before the vacation. |
