|24 July 1906
|With reference to the Messrs letter of 17 July, enclosing the broker's contract for the purchase of £365 South Eastern Railway debentures and of £340.12.3 Consols, the Treasurer [Alfred Bray Kempe] has asked the Harrison to ascertain if, in order to complete the transfer of either of these stocks, the Society is required to execute any instrument under seal. Explains why this would cause delay.
