Title | Copy letter from A H White, to Sir Archibald Geikie, Secretary, Royal Society |
Date | 24 August 1906 |
Description | Encloses a draft and a letter to the Colonial Office [not enclosed]. The office will copy the letter tomorrow once it is returned signed and it will then be sent to the Colonial Office with the packet of manuscript. Asks if it would be advisable to tell the Stationary Office that the Royal Society office would be ready to advise on questions of engraving et cetera.
Geikie says the Society will supply copies of the plates to Minchin's report. Asks if that means White is to instruct Huth to print 1500 and author's copies for the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' then 1000 with fresh lettering for the S.S. [Sleeping Sickness] Reports to go to the Stationary Office and to be charged to the Royal Society. |
