DescriptionDr A W Kappel, librarian of the Linnean Society, who is aware the Society are reducing its stock of publications in the store room, wants to know whether they can have, as a gift, he being a working naturalist, volume 168 of the 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]' 1879, the extra volume that is, which contains an account of the natural history collections made in Kerguelen's Land and Rodriguez during the transit of Venus expeditions. They have in stock about 150 cloth and 150 paper.
