DescriptionProfessor [Edward Albert Sharpey-]Schafer of Edinburgh desires to use, for a new addition of Quain's 'Anatomy' the plates which the Messrs have in hand for Herring and Simpson's paper on the liver for the 'Proceedings of the Royal Society'. Asks if the Messrs will keep these drawings on the stone when they have struck off the Society's copies and accept Professor Schafer's instructions for the number of copies he may require, which will of course be charged to him.
