TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Dr Cyrus Adler, Washington, C.C.
Date11 October 1906
DescriptionIn reply to Adler's of 28 September the Society, in response to his previous communication of 20 July, made up a parcel of as complete as possible a set of 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' for despatch to the California Academy of Sciences, to replace those destroyed in the San Francisco fire. The question of supplementing this grant with one of 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]' will have to be considered, but he is sure they will do everything they can.
