DescriptionTheir letters have crossed. Trusts Galbraith will be able to make arrangements with his agents in London to collect and return the portrait of [George] Buchanan. Provides details of the measurements of the portrait which has no glass. Notes it is in very good condition and they trust the greatest care will be exercised in dealing with it. It is the Society's regular practice that the borrower should take the whole responsibility for the picture from the time it is taken from the wall.
