TitleCopy letter from Archibald Geikie, to [Colonel David] Bruce, [Fellow of the Royal Society]
Date18 December 1906
DescriptionThanks him for his letter and its summary of Eyre's requirements and directions. Sarcastically notes he was evidently intended to be a Royal Prince of the Blood. Should try to oblige him about he proofs in page form. The slips of Part VI have come from the printers, if Bruce requires duplicate sheets to send to Eyre, he should let Geikie know. The charge for the type writing seems to be most incosinderate, no steps have yet been taken to pay it, and Geikie is not sure if the Colonial Office are willing to do so. Asks what he thinks of it.
