TitleCopy letter from Joseph Larmor, to Major Mansell
Date4 March 1907
DescriptionMansell's paper on Cordite is recommended to the Council for publication in 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]', subject to the plates being altered into reduced ordinary illustrations in the text. The Royal Society very rarely publish both numerical tables and elaborate graphs of them. It has been suggested to reduce the tables to the number of significant figures that are reliable, or perhaps one more. It occurs to Larmor that Mansell might reduce their number a good deal by putting several curves on one diagram.
