Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Dr D Fraser Harris, University St Andrews, [Edinburgh] |
Date | 10 October 1907 |
Description | Harrison explains that the main requirement of illustrations sent in is that they should be sharp, clean and in good condition to allow direct photographic reproduction for engraving purposes, and so Harris himself will be the best judge of the most suitable original for the engravers. Any lettering should be written neatly and legibly. With regard to reductions, these can be done by the engravers or Harris himself, with the former noted to be safer if he marks the reduction that is to be made. They will consult him about further details as necessary. |
