'Preliminary note on the operational invariants of a binary quantic', has asked Harrison to enquire if it is intended for Proceedings of the Royal Society, or Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society. If the former Larmor will give authority to proceed at once under Standing Order 33, but if the latter, it will be necessary to submit it to referees before it can be passed for publication.
