TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Arthur Schuster, Fellow of the Royal Society, Chairman of the Physics & Chemistry Committee
Date15 November 1907
DescriptionHarrison explains that J H Grindley and A H Gibson have revised their paper 'On the frictional resistance to the flow of air through a pipe', as communicated by Professor Horace Lamb, so that it may be submitted for publication in Proceedings of the Royal Society rather than Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society. Professor Joseph Larmor has reported favourably on the condensed paper, noting the positive influence of Lamb's direction.

In view of this report, he asks if the Chairman agrees with printing the paper in Proceedings. Harrison also gives revised estimates for the costs of Proceedings.
