Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Hugh Longbourne Callendar, Fellow of the Royal Society |
Date | 22 November 1907 |
Description | Harrison states that the regulations covering the certificates of candidates for Fellowship of the Royal Society do not allow that they leave the custody of the Society once they have been received, but in the circumstances outlined, of a Fellow who lives abroad wishing to append his signature to a certificate, the regulations allow for a copy to be sent out for signature. He has therefore made a copy of Barnes' certificate which Callendar may forward to Professor Bovey, who will then need to return it to the Society. Only those living abroad may sign the copy. |
