TitleCopy letter from Joseph Larmor, to Professor Hartley
Date24 December 1907
DescriptionLarmor reports that the first referee refused to have anything to do with the paper on the ground that it was not properly prepared for press and it was unintelligible to him. He understands that neither of the other two referees support the theoretical part, with one strongly against it. He is taking it away to read for his own interest in the subject.

The reports on the paper will ultimately be considered by the Committee and their decision will be assisted by a knowledge of Hartley's own views in advance.
