I rather expected the enclosed. We received the cheque not long ago, and although we knew then of Mr. Ellery's death I thought it better to pay it in provisionally. The Statutes say that annual contributions are "considered to be due on March 25" but that every Fellow shall pay the same "previously to March 25". Will you please minute your opinion whether we are entitled to keep this cheque.' |
