TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Sir Lauder Brunton, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date4 March 1908
DescriptionWhen the distribution of surplus copies of the Proceedings [of the Royal Society] was under consideration Brunton sent a list of foreign societies which he thought should receive gifts. The proceedings was despatched to a number of these and in most cases received thanks. Brunton's nomination of the University of Lausanne was sent a package containing Proceedings through Wheatly & Co but there were unable to deliver as no one at Lausanne will claim it. Harrison wrote to the Director of the University Library but has had no reply. Harrison asks whether Brunton would perhaps be able to bring about some solution to this difficulty. At any rate someone at Lausanne ought to express an opinion either way.
