|Title||Copy letter from Archibald Geikie to Dr [Charles] Chree|
|Date||17 March 1908|
|Description||'Dear Dr Chree, |
I received you detailed letter of 13th inst[ant]. The question of expense is on which I must discuss with the Treasurer, though I think as you seem to prefer the 2nd of two plans, and as it would not involved so much time and labour in selecting curves, we should do best to adopt it. But as is they I will let you know when I have seen Mr Kempe. I have no hesitations in saying that it would be preferable to work from photographic copies than from originals which might get damaged at the engravers. I thought a proof of the Annual Observations had been sent to you, but I have given instructions for one to be posted to you without delay.'
