Description'1. A letter from Professor J M Thomson suggesting an exhibit of Professor Hewlett and Mr J E Barnard is enclosed. Will Sir William Crookes please say whether he considers that the suggested exhibit should be accepted. 2. Would Sir William Crookes kindly let me know, by return if possible, what day next week would suit him for another meeting of the Soiree Sub-Committee questions. Thursday would not do because there is a Council on that day.'
