Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to C G Hewitt |
Date | 5 May 1908 |
Description | It has been suggested that Hewitt might be able to assist the [Royal] Society at the forthcoming Soiree on the 13th instant by giving, during the evening, a short discourse on the subject of his recent work on flies. The first suggestion was for a talk on the house fly but Professor Hickson advises that the larch fly is another subject Hewitt could give a talk on, the decision is best left to Hewitt. The Soiree is for men only and there are normally three short discourses of no more than 20 minutes. Harrison hopes Hewitt may see his was to assisting in this matter. |
