Description'Dear Sir,
With reference to your letter of May 22nd, have the pleasure to inform you that, provided due acknowledgement is made of the source from which the figures are reproduced, there will be no objections on the part of the Royal Society to your reproducing, in your forthcoming work on Metallic Alloys, the figures illustrating the Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society] paper by Messrs Neville and Heycock which you mention in your letter.'
