The President and Council of the Royal Society have had under consideration Mr Cunningham's letter of the 7th ultimo (154,674/5) in reference to the investigation of Glass-workers' Cataract. The enquiry suggested proves to be one of some difficulty, but I am desired to inform you that the subject is receiving careful attention on the part of the Royal Society, and that we hope that some information regarding it may be available before long.'
