DescriptionA Committee of the Royal Society has been appointed at the request of the government to investigate certain problems connected with an opthalmic disease known as Glassworkers' Cataract. Certain laboratory investigations are to be carried out, and for this purpose, a member of the Committee, George James Burch, desires to obtain specimens of some special kinds of glass. Asks if they would be good enough to give Burch some directions in the matter.
