DescriptionRegarding the letter of 20 July from the rector of the University of Bern and the Vice-President, Bradford has the pleasure to inform them that the President has nominated Professor Arthur Gamgee as the delegate on the occasion of the bicentenary of the birth of the illustrious Haller and the unveiling of the monument erected to his memory. Gamgee will be the bearer of an Address from the Royal Society to the University of Bern.
