DescriptionHis letter intimating his wish to retire from the Fellowship of the Royal Society will be received by Council and Fellows with much regret. Before any steps are taken, Geikie wonders whether King could be induced to reconsider his decision. The Royal Society would do anything in its power to retain him on its list.
