Description | 1. Wrote to Oliver & Boyd and also Swan in the sense he desired.
2. Has his note enclosing a copy of his letter to Shaw, which will be press copied. Also has his receipt for the Treasurer's accounts.
3. Has just received a note from Professor Joseph Larmor on the subject of the names to be put forward for Council. He thinks there should be nine names and one other, leaving out Dr Charles Chree, and not deciding between them equally. Harrison has the names but will hold them back to make the alterations if Geikie concurs, and also until all of the proposed candidates have replied. |
