Hopes Keen will be able to make this fit in with his arrangements. The object of closing the accounts at the end of October was to enable the Royal Society to have the printed draft accounts ready to send around the the members of the finance Committee before their meeting. Regarding the new Lawes Trustee, it is not understood Lord Walshingham's procedure in the matter, but the Council have elected Alfred Lyttelton to the vacant Trusteeship. |
