Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Dr Charles James Martin, Fellow of the Royal Society |
Date | 11 November 1908 |
Description | Harrison would be obliged if Martin would see Mr Sheppard, who will bring this note, who will explain the situation regarding the illustrations to a paper [by Fraser] lately referred to him to report on. The paper was sent last September when he was likely away, and the first intimation that the illustrations belonging to it did not accompany it was in his report received last month.
This should have been reported to Harrison, but it was not. The first referee [Frederick Gowland Hopkins] was contacted to see if he still had them, but he was almost certain this was not the case. Enquires if martin is sure they did not go to the Lister Institute and get accidentally laid aside.
It is believed the tracings were originals and not photographs. |
