Title | Copy letter from Archibald Geikie, to Professor Albert Charles Seward, Fellow of the Royal Society |
Date | 15 June 1908 |
Description | He may telegraph to Professor Pearson's paper to send his paper. The Chairman of the Botany Committee and the referees have recommended it for 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]'. Geikie sees no reason why proofs of text and illustration should not be with the author before December. Proposes Seward communicate the paper, and advise whether text or illustrations could be safely reduced. Buller's paper is to come before the Committee of Papers. He has agreed to reduce it, and has offered £20 towards production, presumably on condition that no serious omission of figures is carried out. |
