DescriptionAfter much consideration and consultation with the other Officers of the Royal Society Geikie has decided to submit the complaints of Captain Scott and the reply of Dr Shaw, together with a copy of the Meteorology volume to Admiral Field for his judgement as to the merits of the controversy. Geikie explains why he did this and the advise he has given to Captain Scott.
