Description'The Secretaries of the Royal Society present their compliments to the Registry of the University of Cambridge and beg to leave to inform him that the President and Council have nominated the following to represent the Royal Society at the Commemoration nest year by the University of the Centenary of Charles Darwin's birth, and the fiftieth anniversary of the publication of the "Origin of Species". :- Sir Archibald Geikie, KCB, DCL, Sc D, LLD, Secretary of the RS [Royal Society].
