TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Professor E [Edward] Hull, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date14 December 1908
Description'My dear Sir,
I have to acknowledge your letter of the 9th, which reached me on the 11th, enclosing a copy of a document drawn up by Mr Twigg on the subject of the Metric System. Your letter shall be placed among the papers to be laid before the Council, which will not however meet again until January 21st. In the meantime it will interest you to know that the subject has already been more than once before the Council, but on the last occasion, in February 1907, they did not see their way to take any action in the matter.'
