Description'Dear Professor Sherrington,
Your letter of November 13th, having been addressed personally to Sir Archibald Geikie, was sent unopened to him in the country; and he has now returned it to me with the request that I should answer it direct. A note had already been made, in accordance with your previously expressed wish, that if possible your two papers should be put down for reading together on December 10th, and unless we hear from you to the contrary you papers will in due course be announced for reading on that day.'
