TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to The Manager, Lloyd's Bank Ltd (St James's Street Branch)
Date20 January 1909
Description'Dear Sir,
I shall be glad if you can see your way to opening an account with the Royal Society, similar to the Wages Account on which we at present draw weekly cheques.
The account would be called the Catalogue of Scientific Papers Account. It would be credited from time, to time, as the state of the account required, with drafts on Robarts Lubbock & Co, and cheques drawn upon the account would be signed by myself as Treasurer of the Society.
So soon as I hear that you are willing to open the account I will draw a cheque to be placed to its credit.'
