Date19 February 1909
Description'My dear Sir,
Proceedings, Royal Society.
I have to acknowledge the receipt of cheques and orders from 31 members of the Physical Society, each of one guinea amounting in all to £32. 11s. 0d.
You mention Col. Malcolm as desiring to discontinue his subscription, but Col. Malcolm paid his subscription on January 1st direct to our bankers, Messrs Robarts, Lubbock & Co., as in the previous year. Perhaps you will be good enough to bring this to his notice, if you think it necessary.'
