TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Miss Beale, Ladies College, Cheltenham
Date31 January 1891
DescriptionRix notes there is no Professor Harley Parker amongst the Fellow of the Royal Society but he thinks he has seen the name and wonders if it is the man who advertises about human hair. If Parker has been using the letters 'FRS' Rix would be glad to know where. It is one of his duties to be 'down upon imposters' and the practice has increased so much that they are going to have an act of Parliament to protect this and certain other socities.
