|Title||Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Michael Foster|
|Date||10 March 1890|
|Description||Rix supposes it is time to think about applying to the Treasury for the second half of the 'Challenger' grant. As before they will want some statement of the money expenditure and Rix asks Foster to ask Dr Murray for some figures to show that the second moiety is necessary for the completion of the work, what proportion has already been spent, and what the present position of the publication is. |
Rix sends herewith the Government Grant Reports ready for pages. The applications are almost ready and he wonders if the two should be appended to the application book. Rix asks the for return of the slips as they contain corrections.
