DescriptionProfessor Roberts-Austen has just been in to suggest Mr Wynnard Hooper, financial editor of 'The Times'. Rix notes that Austen was added to the Soirée sub-Committee as being a useful and 'indeed necessary' person, but as he is not a member of the Committee he has not had the useful privilege of inviting six couples and perhaps he ought to have it.
