TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Watson Smith, Editor of the Journal of the Society of Chemical Industry
Date1 February 1890
DescriptionRix believes the reason the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' were not sent in exchange for Smith's journal is because it was stated the Society of Chemical Industry had no independent library. Rix will bring Smith's application before the Library Committee which however will probably not meet for some time. Rix does not think he will be doing wrong if he orders the publishers to send the 'Proceedings' in the meanwhile.
