TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Messrs Eyre & Spottiswoode
Date28 October 1890
DescriptionRix reminds the Messrs that their account of £27-19-7 remains open and Rix would be glad to pay this in view of the Royal Society's approaching audit, but he is unable to do so as they have not yet received the Messrs credit note. The arrangement was that some deduction should be made from the present account and that future accounts should be made out according to a new scale of charges which the Messrs were to send. The high prices appear to be especially in the quartos but the whole scale seems to need revision in view of the present state of the market.
