TitleCopy letter from a Secretary of the Royal Society to The Under Secretary of State, Colonial Office
Date4 May 1909
DescriptionThe Secretary discusses a potential conference of local Medical Officers and Administrators with regard to Sleeping Sickness and other Trypanosome diseases in British East Africa as well as Uganda. It seems to the Royal Society that such a conference, with power to collect evidence as regards to both human and animal trypanosomasis, and to make recommendations to the Government, might be of great service in guiding the Government in both preventative and remedial measures.
