Description'Dear Sir,
With reference to your letter of May 12, I have to inform you that the scheme for the administration of the Sorby Research Fund, as amended in accordance with the wishes of the University of Sheffield, was laid before the President and Council of the Royal Society at their last meeting and approved, and I now send you the approved copy signed by the President in Council.
I am to request you to be good enough to forward, if possible before June 17, the names of the persons appointed by the Council and the Senate of the University of Sheffield to serve on the Committee, as mentioned in Rule 1, 2, and 3 of the scheme.'
