TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Professor S [Silvanus] P [Phillips] Thompson FRS
Date7 June 1909
Description'Dear Prof Thompson,
I should be glad if you would let me know whether as an outcome of your conversation a week or so ago with Prof [Joseph] Larmor, it was considered feasible to make an ordinary exhibit at the Soiree illustrating the use of polarized light for showing strains in structures.
You will remember that it was decided not to have meeting room demonstrations at the Soiree this time, but when I left you with Dr Larmor you were discussing it.'
